Meet Abby
For more than 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside children, teens, and adults through life’s ups and downs. Some of my most meaningful work has been with adolescents and women—helping them face challenges with compassion, creativity, and resilience. I love partnering with people to uncover their strengths and discover what’s possible for them.
I know life can feel overwhelming at times. Healing doesn’t mean erasing pain or fear, but learning to move through it with new tools and deeper self-understanding. I believe every person has the capacity to live with freedom, joy, and connection, and I’m here to walk with you as we navigate the barriers together.
My role as a therapist is to walk with you—not ahead of you—offering practical tools that fit your unique story. I want my office to feel safe and welcoming, a place where you can bring even the hardest things. Healing happens in relationship, and together we’ll explore your concerns, hold space for growth, and celebrate the changes you make along the way.
I’m a Texas native, living in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with my husband, our three kids, and our golden retriever, Beau (who’s training to be a therapy dog and hopes to join me at Birch and Bloom Counseling soon). Starting this practice has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and it’s an honor to serve each person who walks through the door.
